Martinez, Jan. 5, 1909 Dear Mr Parsons: Many thanks for your many telling effective letters for the preservation of our
great Sierra park The heaviest of the work is now on your Mr Colby's shoulders. I have written as you suggest to Mr Goethe
the Edition Oregon illegible . My throat is much better, I hope to see you ere long, or as soon as this dismal fog rises.
