taken in Kings River Canyon. Since I saw the pictures that Miss Hooker made for you I haven't set such a high value on mine,
but will be very glad if they will afford you any pleasure. In your letter you asked if I would like to have one of your
books. Most assuredly I would. A friend begged for my copy of the Mountains of California and I am now Mountainless. you will
