written on his return from trip around the world Martinez, June 18, 1904 Dear Mr Lukens I thank you for your kind welcome
home. I particularly enjoyed the mountains forests of the Caucasus, the Urals those of Manchuria. The Himalaya above Darjeeling
Simla Australia, New Zealand the Philippines. I am hard at work trying to reply to the 100s of letters accumulated last year-
but hope to see you here ere long- Give my kindest regards to Mrs Lukens Mrs Jones Lattie beleive me ever Faithfully Yours
