UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN March 24, 1904. MADISON OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT My dear Mr. Muir: Possibly away out in California
you may have heard of the coming Jubilee of the University of Wisconsin. Ere this you should have received the official invitation
to be one of the distinguished guests of the University at that time. We are very desirous that you shall be here as one of
the men who has conferred distinction upon the University. I am also authorized by the executive committee Of the alumni
association to ask you to respond to a toast at the alumni banquet Monday evening, June 6th. Sincerely hoping that you will
