New York June 23, 1893 My dear Wanda I was delighted to get your charming letter yesterday. Yours mamas came together
Mr Johnson sent a boy with them to the hotel. He also sent the telegram, then came Helens letter you may be very sure I was
happy. I am going to sail for Europe tomorrow I will now go without feeling so bad though I do feel lonsome about going over
three alone. But I suppose Ill find friends feel better than I expect. for everybody is good to your papa wherever I go. I
hope you will not feel to lonsome I'll not stop very long I'm so glad you Helen are well, grandma mama getting better. Here
are some plants, smilax huckleberry polypodrum from the same place as Helens. It is late I have still much to do to get ready.
