Sept. 3. Dear Mr Muir I am afraid you are not well and I'm going to see you on Saturday unless you telegraph me not to
come. I shall bring lunch with me, and come in the automobile. I should have kept you longer than a night if you could have
come down here to me, but have just had a illegible calling me to Los Angeles and must go on Sunday for 2 or 3 weeks. In
