1 letterhead Aug. 14, 1907. Mr. John Muir- Martinez, Cal. My dear Mr. Muir: I was much disappointed in not seeing
you again after our arrival at the Meadows, as I had a number of things I wanted to talk over with you. Will it be convenient
for you if I call at Martinez some time before my return? I shall be at Hotel Carlton, Berkeley, several days next week shall
