Typed Feb 28th '06 Dear Papa. Your letter and the deeds came this morning. I m tremendously thankful that the business
with Charlie is over with and settled. May we never have any more with him. You speak of almond blossoms and spring weather:
I had forgotten that this was the time for them but it made me awfully homesick to think of them. Here we are having another
sand storm. Such a bad one that it is hard even to see the coal bunkers. However Helen seems to feel pretty well so I guess
we can stand it. But I think it would make even a sait cross.I have a toothache besides so I m not very amiable Every thing
else is about as usual When are you coming back? Soon I hope Its too bad that you can't get the inheritance tax settled this
time but I suppose there is no hurry about it. 08542
