City Council as traffic hazard; due to petition submitted by citizens, flagpole was reinstalled on April 24, 1925, with additional
golden eagle emblem donated by W.H. Kennedy; flagpole removed again in 1935 and stored in Kemp Street pump house; rediscovered
in 1981 and reinstalled in front of Carnegie Library on July 4, 1981, and later repositioned in front of Veteran's Memorial
on Anaheim Blvd.
