Image is of Sor Juana dressed in the Virgin of Guadalupe's blue cloak with yellow stars. Sor Juana also has a red bandana
covering her mouth and a tear falls from her right eye. There are two red horns with intertwined leaves and flower on top
of her head. "The artist portrays her simultaneously as goddess, saint, and heroine and surrounds her with text taken from
her own writings that historically, finally had the last word"--Maestras Atelier XXXIII 1999.
