Full title:Pfc. James Oshiro receiving physio-therapy treatment at the Moore General Hospital, Swannanoa, North Carolina.
He was drafted in Hawaii in December, 1940, went overseas with the 100th Battalion as a platoon messenger with Company C.
He tells of his unit setting up their guns in a vineyard with a group of tanks coming down the hill toward them when a shell
landed near him knocking him unconscious and inflicting shrapnel wounds in his back and shoulder. He was invalided 1 1/2 months
but after going back on duty dislocated the same shoulder, consequently, was shipped back to this country and is undergoing
