Full title:George Shoji and his wife Alice, who is holding their 1-1/2 month old son, Lynn, stand with George Ike and his
wife, Clara, who is holding their son, George Ike Jr., who is 2-1/2 months old. Behind them is a wagonload of cabbage just
brought in from their 50 acre field of this vegetable. In addition to the cabbage, the families raise considerable acreage
of corn and potatoes. They are farming with George Ike's father-in-law, Joseph Sakamoto, on shares near Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
They are well pleased with their earnings from the farm at the end of the first season. The three families came to Wisconsin
