Full title:Jin Asakura specializes in making plant miniatures in a Whitestone, Long Island greenhouse. He came to New York
from the Gila River Relocation Center in September 1943. His home was in Sierra Media, California before evacuation, where
he owned and operated a floral business. He graduated from high school in Sierra Media and later attended Pasadena Junior
College. At the center he worked on the camouflage project and was a member of the fire department.<lb/> Photographer: Parker,
