Full title:John Katsu, 17-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Miyahei Katsu of 35-l C & D, Topaz, Utah, has been elected president
of his home-room class, as a junior of the Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He is shown here in the physics laboratory,
amid test tubes and gadgets, and surrounded by interested fellow students as he completes an experiment. John went out for
sports in a big way, having played football this year and basketball and now is going out for track. He has been rushed by
all the literary fraternities but is waiting now for the required six months enrollment period to end before joining the group
of his choice. He is living at 3605 South Benton Boulevard with his sister, Mrs. Fumi Iki, and brother-in-law Bob Iki.<lb/>
