Hostel, for Japanese Americans, who participated in the Hostel's housewarming on November 23, 1945, are shown here. Seated

Evangelical Church; Father R. G. Scannel, St. Cecelia Roman Catholic Church; and Clyde E. Murray, executive director, East
Harlem Council. Standing are (left to right): Percival Brundage, chairman, New York Unitarian Service Committee; Kenji Nogaki,
formerly of Seattle and the Tule Lake Relocation Center, chairman, Resettlement Council of Japanese American Organizations
in New York City; Rev. Donald Harrington, Community Church of New York; and Robert Dolins, relocation supervisor, East Coast
Area, WRA. The Hostel is jointly sponsored by the Unitarian Service Committee and the Community Church of New York. It is
located at 58 East 102nd Street, New York City, in an inter-racial neighborhood. The Hostel has 44 sleeping rooms, a dining
room seating 60 persons, a fully equipped kitchen, and recreational facilities.<lb/> New York, New York.
