Full title:I sure like New England, says Ben Ninomiye, former Oakland, California laundry route man who spent a few weeks
in the Central Utah Relocation Center at Topaz, Utah, after the evacuation of persons of Japanese ancestry from the west coast.
Ben volunteered for work in the sugar beet fields of Montana, and then after working at jobs in Idaho, Utah, and Illinois,
finally landed in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where he hopes his present garage job will enable him to make a permanent home
for himself and his wife who still resides at Topaz.<lb/> Photographer: Parker, Tom<lb/> Bridgeport, Connecticut.
