Full title:Truck crops can be grown in Nebraska and Iowa too. Mr. Tokuichi Takagi (Issei) and his sons, George, formerly of
Heart Mountain Center, are share-cropping truck crops. The Takagis marketed their first tomatoes on July 8 this year and received
25 cents per pound for them. They are growing beets, dill, cantaloupes, watermelon, squash, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, eggplant,
potatoes, concord grapes and black raspberries. George is considering buying the property he isnow on and says, I think I
could pay it out in two or three years.<lb/> Council Bluffs, Iowa.
