Full title:1st Lt. Shigeru Tsubota has been serving with the 100th Battalion in Italy. Wounded in action, he is now undergoing
treatment at the Moore General Hospital, Swannanoa, North Carolina. Lt. Tsubota is a graduate of the University of Hawaii
and did post graduate work in vocational education, specializing in agriculture. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the reserve
in Jan., 1940, called into active service in March 1941 and promoted to 1st Lt. in August, 1942. He is anxious to rejoin his
