Scope and Content:
The Vogler Cruikshank collection also holds an uncolored example of this book, as well as an American edition published by
Carey and Hart, Philadelphia, and examples of an edition published by David Bryce & Son, Glasgow, six years after Cruikshank's
death. In addition to the books, the Collection includes a letter from Cruikshank to David Bogue, dated July 17, 1844, announcing
he will soon finish the last plate for Lambkin.
