Full title:Sgt. Isamu Sanemitsu with his fellow patients takes his mess in the ward at Moore General Hospital, Swannanoa,
North Carolina where he is recovering from a broken leg and ankle suffered while in Italy with the 100th Battalion. Sgt. Sanemitsu
was inducted into the army in Hawaii on March 23, 1941, and has been serving with a medical detachment as a surgical technician.
He was suffering from stomach ulcers before going overseas but would not disclose the fact as he did not want to be kept from
going with undergoing treatment for this as well as for his leg and ankle. Sgt. Sanemitsu has a brother in training with the
