Full title:Veteran of three years service in the United States Army, Isamu Oka, shown here on the Oka orchard near Los Gatos,
California, was disabled by wounds received in combat near Siena, Italy on July 6, 1944. He is one of the first Santa Clara
veterans to be discharged as physically unfit from wounds. Isamu resides with his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Tozaburo
Oka and his two sisters, Toyoko and Tomiko, both of whom have returned from relocation in the middle west. The Okas were at
Heart Mountain. They were among the first families to return to Santa Clara County. The Oka address is Route 1, Box 265, Los
