Full title:One of the many fine churches in Hereford, Deaf Smith County, Texas. Numerous opportunities for evacuee truck farmers
have developed in this county. Most of these opportunities have come from the vicinity of Hereford, a city of about 3000 population
and the county seat of Deaf Smith County. For the past several years this vicinity has received nationwide attention and publicity
because of the unparalleled condition of dental health found in the area. Numerous newspaper and magazine articles have been
published on the subject. The excellent state of dental health prevailing in the county is accompanied by an equally high
standard of general health. The land is extremely productive and food crops produced there not only find a ready market but
could easily be sold at a premium.<lb/> Photographer: Iwasaki, Hikaru<lb/> Hereford, Texas.
