Description:
Exterior photographic postcard of Snowcreek Camp, a service station and rest stop facility built on Highway 60, 70 and 99,
one mile west of Whitewater and 13 miles east of Banning. Built by Albert and Jack Secor and managed by the Secor family,
Snowcreek Camp serviced travelers with a gas station, restaurant and bar, and overnight camping facilities. Most of the buildings
were constructed using local river rock. Snowcreek Camp was demolished in the early 1960s to make room for the construction
of the I-10 Freeway.
