Rialto, Calif. N. Dakota. My dear Mrs. Nance; July 7, 1942 It is my great pleasure to have
an opportunity which enable me to write you. For sometime I was thinking about you and remind me of my responsible to express
my thoughts of thanks to you. Yesterday the folks from Santa Anita have wrote me, and informed me about your address, which
I needed badly. Probably you have heard of my release from here, that I notified to Mr. Myer & had my request to convoy
to you. It’s beyond my expression, when I think of that in near future I shall be able to enjoy dear old California climate
again. My dear Mrs, Nance, I don’t know what words I may use to appreciate your kindness to word our family all during this
hour of darkness. Also so according to Mutsuo’s letter that you have attended the examination’s and the graduation programs,
which had been held at the Santa Anita Center. How I am happy to know The Mutsuo’s honor of graduation he passed, I regard
all this attributed you constant interest in him, I will remember your deed so nobly & admirably. Please kindly extend my
regard to Mrs. Penny-camp Mrs Logow whom effort & kind they shown. I am still here at Bismarck, but I hope it won’t be long
before I able to return, and to see you again. Respectfully Yours Sadahei Hirose
