Description:
Handwritten letter from Mizuye Hirose to Afton Nance, 1942 June 18.D4-B14-Ave-T-U5 Santa Anita Assembly Center Arcadia, Calif June 18, 1942 Mrs. Nance, I am very sorry I neglect to
answer your letter sooner. Mr. Hann, principal of Manuel Art High School told us that his school will lend us any text book
we want. Yesterday mother recieved her umbrella which she like very much. Mutsumi is very proud of his jean. He wore it
soon as it came. Mutsuo wish to thank you for the magazines you send him, we all enjoyed it very much for the magazines
in this library are so old. Could we again ask you to get us something? A friend of mother wishes you to purchase her
things, so please tell how much every thing cost. We are enclosing $15.00 in money order so subtract the amount for the umbrella
and also the jeans. I am writing the list on the card. I am sorry we always ask to do thing for us. Yours most
sincerely Mizuye Hirose
